LAST FLAG STANDING
Play Last Flag Standing online
Choose a flag, meet your next neighbor and see where the dice take you. Play the original 196-country map game above, or follow an entire war without controlling a country. No installation is needed.
How to play
Choose a mode
Select Random to play a run. Choose a country on the map, search by name or use the random-country button. Watch the War starts a simulation instead.
Roll against a neighbor
In Random mode, the game finds your next opponent. Roll your dice, compare the final scores and move on to the next battle. A tied battle is rolled again.
Keep your run alive
A victory adds the opponent’s territory and population to your country. A defeat costs one heart. Your run ends when you have no hearts left.
Two ways to play
Random
A playable run with three starting hearts. Opponents are chosen for you, so the challenge is seeing how far your flag survives. This mode does not let you freely choose an attack target.
Watch the War
Let the countries fight automatically. Follow a favorite and switch to 2× or 5× speed to move through the battles faster. This is a simulation, not a live multiplayer match.
Dice, population and power
A normal battle uses three six-sided dice. Add the rolls, then multiply that total by your current power. Population includes people in conquered territory; consecutive wins add a separate bonus.
For example, rolls of 4, 5 and 3 total 12. At ×1.2 power, the final score is 14.4. A bigger multiplier helps, but does not guarantee a win.
| Population | Base power |
|---|---|
| Below 1 million | ×1 |
| 1 million to under 10 million | ×1.1 |
| 10 million to under 50 million | ×1.2 |
| 50 million to under 200 million | ×1.3 |
| 200 million to under 1 billion | ×1.4 |
| 1 billion or more | ×1.5 |
Each consecutive win adds +0.1 power, up to +0.3. A defeat breaks the streak. Rank power is added separately.
What does the red rally die do?
An attacker whose whole empire has less than one twentieth of the defender’s land gets a fourth die. A defender qualifies when its land is less than one twentieth of the attacker’s original home country. Only the best three rolls count. The 20× condition compares land area; it does not multiply a battle score by twenty.

Playing on a phone or computer
Give the map room
Use fullscreen for a longer session. On a phone, portrait keeps the controls close together; landscape gives the map more width. The game’s map has zoom and reset-view controls.
Start with a short run
Random mode lets you learn the dice and hearts before following a whole simulation. If you want to watch rather than make each roll, choose Watch the War.
If the game will not load
Check your connection, reload the player or use Open original. The game is loaded from the creator’s website, so a blocker or a problem on that service can affect play here. Reloading interrupts the current run.
Questions before your next roll
Is Last Flag Standing free to play online?
The browser game embedded here is free to play. You do not need to install an app to start a run. Any optional support links belong to the original creator.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes. Open this page in a current mobile browser and use the game above. Fullscreen or the original game in its own tab can help when your screen is small.
Can I pick which country to attack?
In the current Random mode, your next opponent is selected by the game. You choose your starting country, not every attack target.
Is Watch the War multiplayer?
No. It runs automated battles between countries. Following a country does not put another human player in control of it.
Does a lost battle take away my land?
In Random mode, a defeat costs a heart rather than territory. When all hearts are gone, the run ends. Watch the War uses its own elimination flow.
Is this the official website?
This is an independent play page with an original guide. The game itself comes from the creator’s own player. Use the creator link below for the original release, updates and support.
